Ten teams took part in the County Championship Pairs competition held at March IBC on 4 August 2018. Both semi-finals were hard fought and in the Final Doreen Butcher and Josie Charter, the eventual winners, were one shot up going into the final end. Josie had the last wood of the match and was one down but produced a lovely draw shot to make it a dead end with both woods touching the jack. Doreen and Josie will be going to the Nationals in April.

Margaret Rea and Patrick Bretagne - 3 points -24 shots, Bill Harrison and Joe Peters - 6 points +40 shots (3rd place), Judith and Ray Fox - 4 points -4 shots, Gerry Russell and Rosemary Cooper - 7 points +15 shots (4th place), Mary Fox and Tony Groves - 0 points -28 shots, Rob Bonello and Jayne Thorpe - 2 points -7 shots, Janet Russell and Kevin Stanford - 6 points even shots (2nd place), Linda White and Dave Warriner - 0 points -30 shots, Geoff Ward and Barry Fox - 5 points +10 shots.
