Cambridgeshire A Team played Essex away on 21 October and ended up with a 20 - 20 draw and 178 shots to 181. The result was so tight that coming into the last round had Cambridgeshire secured the bonus points on either the Triples or Fours by scoring 8 more shots it would have meant a win.
