There was a very good entry of 18 teams for the Pre-Christmas triples and once again everyone entered into the spirit with their festive attire. All bowlers played four games of 8 ends and there was a break in the afternoon for tea/coffee and mince pies. The players also drew a numbered ticket which corresponded to a small gift to take home.
The winners on the day were Brenda Waling, Charlie Waling and Derek Retchless with 8 points +45 shots, second Doreen Butcher, Judith Fox and Ray Fox with 8 points +32 shots and in third place Dawn Fincham, Jean Retchless and Roly Fincham with 8 points +17 shots.
