After a narrow defeat in our first game away to Northants the squad was keen for a home victory.
The singles were first to play but unfortunately they lost both games in the first round. After swapping opponents our fortune changed and they both won their second games. This followed the same pattern as the away game.
The pairs played well with one team winning both and the other winning one and losing one.
The triples followed the same pattern as the away game. One team won the first game well then lost the second. Overall we won two games.
The Fours lost both their first games, one on the last end. They then went on to win both their last games.
We gained bonus points in more disciplines than the away team and the result was a pleasing victory of 24 - 16.
